Tell us about it! Will's blog
I was on board from '78 to '80. I have stayed in touch with many friends
from school including Frank Hefner, now a professor at the College of
Charleston in SC, married with two children; Kirk Shoop, living in CO with
wife and two sons, the Calabrese boys who I will be seeing next Monday on
my way to the Keys, John Thompson ('78-80) who is selling real estate in
Ontario.
I hear occasionally from Dit Wilford,
now Leninger who put me in touch with Scott Rasmussen ('77-80). After
several active years of writing he disappeared into the wilds of Guyana and
I haven't heard from him since. I just got a Christmas card from Stephanie
Stitt ('78-79) who has just had her second daughter. Erin Ferguson
('78-80) is married and from the message that she left me last night, I
think she is pregnant with her first child.
Whether you loved it or hated it, Flint School demanded to be noticed and
with the kindness of time, I find the lessons learned more poignant, more
relevant and the hardships dim.
